Krka’s development is based on organic growth, which means we use our production capabilities to meet increased customer demand. We assure modern technological production in Slovenia and around the world. Our investment projects adhere to the principles of sustainable development by introducing the best available technologies that ensure a safe work environment and minimise environmental impact.
In production mechanical engineering we plan and carry out procedures for building process equipment and spare parts.
We manage the power supply network, energy and air-conditioning systems, devices for preparing pharmaceutical water media and automated washing systems.
We manage investment processes and supervise Krka’s global investments in construction, electrotechnical, mechanical and technological areas. We oversee the process from its infancy, during the planning phase through to the time a new facility is built, equipment purchased and ready to be installed.
We oversee the purchasing of all technical materials, services and energy sources. We install, maintain and manage regulation and computerised control systems. We implement energy management solutions, as well as plan and improve maintenance processes.
Our work involves planning and managing metrology systems, i.e. calibrating equipment’s measuring instruments, providing maintenance services and validating the production environment.

Since 2021, Krka has been using clean, carbon-free sources of electricity. We cut our annual CO2 emissions by 45,000 tonnes, similar to planting 170,000 trees.
